It’s my 36th week of pregnancy now. I’m almost finish running the pregnancy journey! I had my appointment today, the doctor took the culture for the Strep B test. He also told me that I’ve dilated for 2-3cm already! Then he told me that I could be anytime now! I went home and told my hubby about the news. He started to worry about it and wanted me to pack all the bags so that we could be ready. Somehow I didn’t think that the baby would come as fast as I would thought. Well, I’ve two more weeks of children bible study to teach, one woman’s bible study to lead, and a after church meal to prepare before the baby’s arrival! And of course, my MIL’s room to clean up and some baby’s stuff to be taken down from the attic! Come to think about it, I’ve so many things to do before my baby could come! I need to start crossing out my to do list! 

I’ve been attending the cake decorating class offered by Wilton for two weeks now. It has been a pleasant class and I’ve enjoyed them a lot. I think the class is kind of intense with a lot of preparation done ahead. I talked a friend of mine, apparently the class’ format has changed and sounded like the new course has more hands on experience to compare to the old course. So far, this is the first cake that I’ve decorated in my second class. Here is the picture:

The cake turns out pretty nice, don’t you think? hahah.. but I think I might have won the the title of “The ugliest cake” in the class but I’m still proud of my accomplishment
I’ve another class to attend tonight, I’ll be decorating cupcakes that I’ve already made. Will upload more pictures to let you see how it turns out.

I was reading the stories from the “Elmo and friends!” book to Nathan. When i read about the story of Cookie Monster was going to invite his friends over for a meal, then he decided to made a list of things to do around the house. Then we came to this page of Cookies busy cleaning the house. Then my 3 years old pointed at the page and added his comment: “The house is messy like mommy’s!” I turned around and asked, “Really mommy’s house is as messy as Cookies?” Nathan replied: “Yes!” Of course, Andy was busy laughing!!! I guess innocent toddler doesn’t lie and I’ve to improve on my housekeeping skill.

I love summer simply because I could find some many varieties of fruits in the supermarket! I could spend easily $20 just to get fruits in a week! Look at the fruit that has been arranged and cut. Don’t you want to take a bite too?

It’s new year again!!! Well, I got to have something new at home for the new year right? So, I decided to rush out doing the table cloth just to welcome the new year! Happy New Year 2010 everyone!

Finally, we decided to buy a tree this year to make Christmas more cheerful in the house. I guess especially for Nathan, he is very excited about the tree. The gifts that he has received so far, he has put them under the tree. Maybe he doesn’t know what is inside and that’s why he could resist the temptation of opening up the gifts. After all it’s his first year of Christmas that he really “know” what is going on. I’ve been busy creating some crafts myself. I did the stockings for three of us. Mine is taking the longest time since I quilted some difficult pattern using my friend’s pattern – Wendy (check out her wonderful works using the links). We’re ready for Christmas morning to capture the joys and excitement from the little one. Of course, we’ve been constantly telling him that Christmas is all about Jesus and not about tree and gifts . This is a Christmas gift for a dear friend.

Usually mornings are busy for me even though I do stay home with my son all the time. I’ll just do all the cleaning or cooking and sometimes without knowing what is Nathan doing. I love to peek on him every now and then, most of the time to make sure he is not doing the things that he is not suppose to be doing. But sometimes i just amaze at the things that he could do/play without mommy’s company. Things that he enjoys like singing, reading books and playing his little cars. I just amused by looking at how he would line up his little cars and by pushing them back and forth in a very neat way. hahha… i wonder how he take up that? from his daddy’s side of the gene (i must tell you that daddy and grandma are neat freaks – But I don’t like it when he complain about my messiness!!)

Seriously, I didn’t pre-arrange this… Nathan did it all by himself.

“It’s Friday, what can we do?” we thought we could try out the festival at downtown Rogers. When we got there, there was a throng of people coming in for the festival, we hardly find a parking space. We had to walk a distance to the destination but I would say it was a nice walk with the cool weather! Nathan was fascinated with the fire trucks and EMS vehicle parked along the street. Next, he saw people were lining up for the rides. Of course, he won’t miss that. We were worry about sending him off to ride on the train by himself. I was warning him to hold the handle and to sit tight. He did follow my instruction and enjoyed the ride very much. Well, we cannot pass on the funnel cake, corn dogs, and BBQ. So, we stopped to have our dinner there. Nathan had a giant corn dog all by himself. I would say that it was the unhealthy dinner for the evening… well, we could be unhealthy once in a while. It was 8pm, we decided that we need to go. The little young man didn’t have enough rides(we did pass out a lot of rides because it was too late and also daddy and mommy were too busy eating!) and didn’t want to leave! We promise him to take him to the Fayetteville one next week and he seems feeling better after that. Overall, it was a fun day for our family.

I’m NOT pregnant. I’m just talking about my big belly…Finally I got myself a Ab Rocket to exercise on my tummy. I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight but this belly fat is just not going away. I couldn’t stand it longer and I really hated it and making me really uncomfortable. Finally I’ve decided enough is enough!!! I got to start exercise! Also, another thing that I’ve been doing is to quit drinking coffee. I’m actually proud of myself without drinking for more than 1 month already. Of course, I could enjoy it once in a while but I no longer got to have it every morning. I’m proud of myself and I’m also determine to work on my tummy. At last but not least, I want to thank my hubby for his support and bought me the Ab Rocket to get me started on this.
