Dec 2, 2007 was our first anniversary. Well, being the first anniversary you might think that we have a great plan to celebrate the occasion, but it turns out to be just an ordinary day! What’s more funny is that we actually forgot about that and it takes some friends to remind us. We got a card from a couple on Saturday – Dec 1. Initially we thought that em… why are they sending us a card, it’s not Nathan’s birthday, Andy’s nor mine. After opening up the card, we only realize that it is to wish us for our anniversary. Sounded kinda sad to even forget the BIG first anniversary. We guess we must have been very busy lately… So we quickly thwart our wedding cake to kinda celebrate our first anniversary tradition. The cake tasted horrible… each of us had a piece and threw the rest of the cake away. We still didn’t know why there is a tradition of eating the wedding cake the on first anniversary. Maybe to remind us of the very memorable event of the event and to get through the first tough year?? not sure. However, we thank God that we made through a year and still more years to come ahead of us. So many changes happen in a year but God’s faithfulness and love to us has never change and we can only solely depend on Him in our marriage!
