Time flies… my mother in law will be leaving next Thursday. Now that she is leaving, I begin to worry about take care of Nathan all by myself. Will I be able to handle him by myself? Maybe I’ll be very exhausted? Not sure how I’ll be taking care of him and I hope I wouldn’t let him cry a lot when I’m too tired to play or carry him around. One thing for sure, I will miss the freedom that I’m enjoying now. Freedom to go out for a date with Andy when we needed a break. She has been a great help to us. We really appreciate her presence. Sometimes there might be a conflict but overall I would say it has been more advantages than disadvantages (sound like using her
). But we do really enjoy having her around and we hope both Nathan’s grandparents would able to make it to stay longer next time. We’ll see how it goes and maybe it will be a good time for me to be on diet (no time to eat or too tired to eat) hehehe…

Nathan started on solid last week and boy he was so constipated!! He was straining and straining to have his bowel movement. I fed him oat cereal for his first solid. He was happy about eating solid and wanted more and more. But he just have great struggle pooping. I quickly emailed Laurel to get some advice. I guess I’ve to stop feeding him solid for few days and continue back to ease the discomfort that he is having. Poor baby Nathan… I hope he will be ok soon. If Nathan comes to your mind, maybe you can pray for him. Thanks!
My friend sent me this through an email I thought that this is really funny. I can tell the big difference of me being a first time mom and a lady at church who is a mommy to 3 children. I thought I can share with you who have not read this…

It’s has been about five months plus since our last date to have dinner together. Thank God for Andy’s mom and aunt to babysit Nathan tonight so that we can have a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner at the Bone Fish Grill. The food was really good and we’ll definitely go back. I had lobster tails and Andy had Mahi-Mahi. Being away from Nathan is kinda weird. Don’t know why I was constantly worry that he was hungry and needed me. So, after dinner we headed home and found out that he was doing just fine. I guess I just worry too much. I hope Andy had a good time to dine with me tonight even though I was worry about Nathan. Happy Valentine’s’ Day my sweet laogong. You’ve been the best husband and dad!
Fisherman: Let me try to fish a big fish using a pacifier as bait
Baby fish: Em… looks yummy. Let me nibble a bit to check out the taste
Fisherman: Look like a big fish nibbling on my bait
Baby fish: Taste kinda yummy… let me try a bigger bite
Fisherman: Finally catch a fat baby fish!!!
Baby fish: I got caught
Today’s is Nathan fifth month old already. Time definitely flies by so quickly. He is still a little chubby babby or my sister would refer him as the “Michelin Man”. He turned over for the first time two days ago. We were so excited about that because Andy and I and grammy could witness the little trick that he did. Except for all the bumps on the face, which I think he scratches himself but Andy’s mom thinks that it’s caused by the strong wind when we take him out – which I definitely not agree, he is just fine. Also, mommy is happy to see his hair is growing out more and more each day
