Yea… Nathan is 9 month old and it seems like yesterday that he was born. The well baby check up shows that he is well except that he has not gained much weight as before. I was afraid that he was having an ear infection and asked the doctor to check out for him because he has been pulling his ears really hard. But it turns out that he has been doing it not because of ear infection but teething. Teething pain… it’s a part of growing pain for babies and at least for so sensitive baby like Nathan. This week he has not been sleeping well, he gets up almost every two or three hours. Usually when he gets up I could just nurse him to sleep. But the teething pain makes him really fussy and so hard to put him back to sleep. I tried given him acetaminophen every 4-5 hours but I was afraid to give him too much of it (I did this for three days already). He still having the pain. I think i shouldn’t give him so much and let him get use to the sensation. Well, it also means that I have to run to his room every 2 or 3 hours. But I guess that’s the only way I could do without letting him "cry it out" which I couldn’t stand at all. The difficult time will soon passes that’s how I always comfort myself. Except for that, I was excited when he finally knows how to wave bye bye this week. I thought he will take a while to get it until Wednesday we were at a bible study. It was time to leave and someone said bye bye to Nathan. And out of the blue, he waved his hands to say bye bye. And did it again to another church member. I was so thrilled and immediately called Andy and told him about that. Besides, he knows to pull himself up and cruises around the house. One more thing, he also masters to sit down from crawling position. I was overjoyed to see how much he has grown. Wow.. can’t believe within the few weeks he has suddenly accomplish so many skills! I’m so proud of him. Very soon I’ll be happy to report that he is no longer a baby but a toddler. Wow.. time really flies!
