Daddy has been busy on Sat, July 18, 2009, building a sandbox for Nathan with Tom’s help. After almost the whole day, the finished product is up. We’ve not filled the sandbox with sand yet… I’m pretty sure that Nathan would enjoy it very much for years to come. Here are some pictures of the sandbox:

Tom has been teaching Nathan to say: “Yo, mama!” Well, Tom has taught him well… these days whenever Nathan could remember then he would say that to his mommy!!! One time we both were in the car, we were listening to the radio and someone mentioned Mama something.com. Then he shouted out yo, mama! Another day, Tom came over to help Andy to do a project at home, and it was nap time for Nate. I didn’t let him to go out of the room but he saw Tom somehow. Then he told me that, “Yeh yeh (means grandfather in Chinese. As you know Tom is not his yeh yeh but in Chinese culture, we address an older person as Shu shu [uncle] or yeh yeh [grandpa]).” Then I asked him, which yeh yeh are you talking about? Then he replied: “yo ma ma yeh yeh.” hahha.. I thought it was funny. I think Nathan is trying to talk and to connect all the words in a sentence. It’s cute and even though only understandable to only certain people.
